Hey guys! I would like to say that my blog has reached 5,000 Pageviews this week! I would like to say thank you to all of you who read and comment on my posts! I’ll have a special post planned sometime soon. I don’t exactly know what I want to do for this special post, but I’ll try to come up with something good to write about. So without delay, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week:
- Erin Bowman – Good Time Good Life (#40)
- Jon Bellion – Overwhelming (#34)
– Our first of two entrants comes from Linkin Park with One More Light. I can’t really say much about this song except it’s basically a tribute to the late Chester Bennington, who passed away last week after committing suicide. I think this song is appropriate for a tribute single, mainly because of the production and the vocals. That’s all I’ve got for now.
– Next, we have more Louis Tomlinson, this time with his new single Back To You which features Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals. I didn’t really expect this to debut so soon, but I’m kinda happy that it did. I do like the production, the vocals, and pretty much everything else. I’m not gonna say this is better than Just Hold On yet, but this is a keeper.
– In music news, Katy Perry is set to host the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, which will take place on the night of August 27, 2017. This is certainly welcoming news as I’ve always been a fan of Katy Perry and her music. I’m hoping this year’s awards show will certainly be better than last year, which wasn’t that exciting.
Hit-Bound
Harry Styles – Two Ghosts
Julia Michaels – Uh Huh
Andy Grammer – Give Love
Ed Sheeran – Galway Girl
Macklemore featuring Skylar Grey – Glorious

Shawn Hook featuring Vanessa Hudgens – Reminding Me
Bebe Rexha – The Way I Are (Dance With Somebody)
Paramore – Hard Times

– Our only entrant this week comes from returning artist Zedd, this time collaborating with One Direction member Liam Payne with their new single titled Get Low. The production is similar to Stay, except with Liam’s vocals. While I can’t say this is better than Stay at the moment, at least this one is enjoyable. I’ll talk more about this should it debut.

Songs That Debuted This Week One Year Ago:
Jordan Fisher – All About Us: From the very first listen, I instantly fell in love with the song, mainly because he as so much energy and charisma throughout the song. While I won’t really say that this is the best debut single from a rising artist, he has shown that he has great vocals. He sounds basically like a younger version of Usher.
Jacob Whitesides – Lovesick: This one is a pretty fun listen. I’m in love with the intro where the “Hmm’s” come in, and the song definitely has some throwback vibe. Overall, this track a keeper, and I wish it could’ve been a success elsewhere.
Demi Lovato – Body Say: When it comes to making sex anthems, Demi Lovato does it perfectly. Almost every aspect of the song (from the sultry lyrics to her vocals) is very well done. This song also goes to show everyone that Demi Lovato is no longer a Disney star and has moved on to making more mature music.

Bad Liar and It Ain't Me definitely should switch places.Did you mean to swap Despacito and SJLT in the Top 20 Review?

So, not sure if you heard this round, but unlike last week where they played Hey Bulldog and not the 1 year ago #1 (I Took A Pill In Ibiza), they did play the one year ago #1 this time (that'd be Can't Stop the Feeling). But they played Hey Bulldog first.

Your opinion is a heck of a lot like Adrian's. You even both love Something Better!
