2018: A Year In Review, Part 2: Stats And More

Hello, fam! Now that 2018 is about to be officially in the books, I was able to put together the final stats for the whole year. It’s been quite a ride, as we had plenty of things happened throughout the year. Here is the color code that I’ll be using:

Overall, I’d say this was another solid list of songs that hit #1. There were a couple of mediocre songs, but other than that the rest of the list looks good. Hopefully, 2019 will be better.

Hit-Bound Dropouts:
We’re gonna move along now and talk about the world of Hit-Bound. There were plenty of songs on Hit-Bound that were unable to make the Hits 1 Weekend Countdown. This year, there weren’t a whole lot of songs that stood out to me. Some of those ended up sticking with me, but there were others that I wasn’t too fond of. I will now present to you my Lights Over Paris Hit-Bound Hero Award. This award is given out to a song that I fell in love with, but ultimately didn’t graduate to the Weekend Countdown. After going through a whole year of listening to all the songs on Hit-Bound, I’ve finally made my decision. Here’s the song that wins the award:
