#1 Song This Week One Year Ago: The Chainsmokers featuring Kelsea Ballerini – This Feeling (3rd of 7 Weeks At #1)

Biggest DRRRRRRROP!!! Of The Week: Tones & I – Dance Monkey (–8)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Ed Sheeran featuring Camila Cabello and Cardi B – South Of The Border (+11)

I Got Blurbs For You
– Dance Monkey’s awful tenure on this countdown continues as it has fallen down to #40 this week.  It’s a unique song that does not deserve to flop on Hits 1.  I’m not sure what’s going on, but hopefully the song can make its comeback soon.

– Not too surprised about South Of The Border having the biggest jump of the week.  It’s a pretty good song overall, but I doubt it’ll last very long seeing that it hasn’t really gained any traction elsewhere.

– Thank goodness the monstrosity that is of One Thing Right is dying out.  You have no idea how pleased I am to see it losing momentum.  Hopefully, the end is near for this song.

– Good to see 10,000 Hours entering the Top 10.  It’s nice to see it gain traction heading into 2020.  Speaking of Justin Bieber, he does have a brand new single that comes out next week.  I’m intrigued to see what he has in store.

– So, the Jonas Brothers are going to perform at an Aerosmith tribute concert, huh?  That’s very interesting.  I do hope they cover I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing, which is my favorite from the band.  I wonder what other songs will these guys be covering?
